Cam Reddish available for Knicks vs. Clippers, Kemba Walker out

Ahead of the Knicks’ Sunday afternoon matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers, coach Tom Thibodeau revealed that Cam Reddish and Nerlens Noel are available to play. He also confirmed that Kemba Walker will be out for Sunday’s tip off.

Reddish, who was acquired from the Atlanta Hawks last week, could make his Knicks debut after being out with an ankle injury. After Saturday’s practice, the former Duke player told reporters that he is ready to play.

“I feel good, I would say 100 percent is pretty accurate,” Reddish said. “Looking forward to get out there tomorrow… That’s the hope, yeah.”

Noel has missed the past four games with a knee injury, but is available to give the Knicks some much needed depth in the center position. The Knicks will have Noel, Mitchell Robinson and Taj Gibson available on Sunday.

Walker, who has been dealing with knee issues for the past two seasons, won’t be available for the Knicks against the Clippers. Thibodeau did confirm, however, that it’s “likely” that Kemba plays Monday against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Coach said that he is simply “managing” Kemba’s minutes especially when the team is playing a back-to-back.

The Knicks look to end a three game losing streak against the Clippers at home on Sunday afternoon.
