Indian Cricket Team would be aiming for a clean sweep against Sri Lanka in the 3rd ODI. The hosts have been quite ruthless in the first 2 ODIs where they showed great fighting spirit. Head Coach Rahul Dravid would be mightily pleased with the team’s performance as they weren’t dependent on a single individual.
Sri Lanka would be hoping to salvage some pride in the 3rd ODI at Thiruvananthapuram. The visitors need to bring their ‘A’ game whereas the likes of Charith Asalanka & Dhananjay de Silva need to play according to their credentials if the team wants to avoid embarrassment.

Vikram Rathour on Rahul Dravid
Vikram Rathour was seen attending press conference ahead of 3rd ODI and was asked about whether Rahul Dravid is fine as during 2nd ODI there were reports as he was not well. “He’s absolutely fine boss. I don’t know where that news came from. He’s absolutely fine. You want him to take some few rounds running around, you want to see that? We can put some fitness test for him also. He’s here (in Thiruvananthapuram with the Indian team).” said Vikram Rathour.
Sri Lanka in Deep Trouble
It looks as if the there is no fighting spirit in the island nation. In both the ODIs, Lankan batters weren’t able to play long & effective innings for the team. We should not forget that Sri Lanka is yet to qualify for the World Cup 2023 as they are placed at 9th position with 77 points.
The visitors should bring back Maheesh Theekshana as the mystery spinner can also be used in the power-play overs and has the knack of picking up wickets. The island nation need a miracle because the way India is playing, it will require a helluva of effort to win the 3rd ODI match.
