“I Was Just Happy To Be Out There Batting”- Virat Kohli After Winning Man Of The Match & Man Of The Series Award Against Sri Lanka
Indian Cricket Team registered a thumping victory over Sri Lanka in the 3rd ODI. The Men in Blue won the match by 318 runs and whitewashed the island nation by 3-0. Mohammed Siraj was the wrecker in chief where he took 4 scalps and gave away 32 runs in his 10 overs spell
Indian bowlers bowled quite a wicket to wicket where they hardly gave any ample room to the batters. The Men in Blue would be delighted with this performance where they outplayed the visitors across all the 3 departments of the game.

Mindset is always to help the team win- Virat Kohli
During post match presentation, Virat Kohli was asked about his performance. “I have no idea (about the MoS awards he has won). For me, it’s just a byproduct of the intent I have, mindset that I play with. Mindset is always to help the team win, bat for as long as possible and if you do that, you end up making a difference. I have always played for the right reasons, help the team as much as possible. It is just intent, playing for the right reasons. Ever since I came back from the long break, I have been feeling good.” said Virat Kohli.

Mohammed Siraj has been outstanding- Virat Kohli
“Shami has always been there for us but the way Siraj has come up has been outstanding. He has taken the maximum number of wickets in the powerplay, which was an issue for us early. He is always making the batters think, which is a great sign for us going into the World Cup.” he added.
