Sanjay Bangar believes Virat Kohli will step up his performance even further In the next ODI series between India and New Zealand.
The first of three one-day international matches between the Men in Blue and the Black Caps will take place on January 18 in Hyderabad. With three centuries in his previous four ODI innings, Kohli enters the series on a strong note.

When asked if he anticipated Virat Kohli breaking Ricky Ponting’s ODI record for most tons against the Kiwis during a debate on the Star Sports show “Game Plan,” Bangar responded:
“After being relieved of the captaincy duties and regaining his form, he improved significantly during the T20 World Cup in Australia. Going forward, I think Virat Kohli will continue to improve and keep up his form in one-day international cricket.”

In three ODIs, the former India skipper scored 283 runs, including 113 off 87 balls in the opening match. He was awarded Player of the Match and Series as a result. In order to qualify for the ODI World Cup at home in 2023, Kohli will try to continue his success.
